DESCRIPTION
This project is a shooter game with AAA-quality gameplay mechanics created during an extensive online course (56 total hours).
RESPONSIBILITIES
In this project, I developed an entire game system from scratch with many features, including:
- Advanced character movements such as strafing, aiming with camera zoom, turn-in-place, crouching, and leaning while running.
- The ability to pick up weapons and ammo, including a full inventory system.
- The player can switch between different weapons (pistols, submachine guns, assault rifles), fire from the weapon with recoil animations, and reload when the magazine needs to refill.
- Weapons with an advanced system, including various particles such as blast effects, smoke trails, bullet shell ejection, and impact.
- Automatic and semi-automatic gunfire.
- The ability to move different gun parts, such as the magazine and pistol slide, during animations.
- Dynamic crosshairs.
- Multiple enemy types with AI, featuring varying levels of health and damage.
- HUD that shows character and enemy health bars.
